Welcome to website of the Avalon Rowing Club. This is the place where all of our members can get together in a virtual place to share pictures, stories, news, and information about regattas and other rowing events. The intent of this website is to bring together members of different backgrounds and skills that are located all over the world to share some camaraderie and joy in knowing that there is a place where everyone can get together and communicate even though we may not be able to do it physically.

The club is not based in any one city, per se, although many of the events are on the East coast of the United States. The people who make up the Avalon Rowing club come from all over and we like it that way. We would even like to expand and invite members from other countries.

We created this site for you and hope that you will come here often and contribute to the content with your comments, stories, tips, or even articles about rowing. We will continue to post stories of the bigger events where we have a larger representation, but we are also interested in hearing accounts from the smaller ones, where only a few of us can make it.

We recently redid our website and moved everything over from the old site. We plan on adding some new features and content to make this more enjoyable for you. Feel free to send us your comments and suggestions.
