Did you ever notice when you're out in your boat for only 20 minutes, surrounded by water, and all that you can think about is how thirsty you are? At first, you think about plunging into the water and enjoying a refreshing dip. Then a dead fish floats by and those thoughts vanish. When you reach down for your water bottle you realize you left it back on the shore. Panic sets in and all you can think about now is how hot the sun is getting and how much drier your mouth is becoming. Is it you or is your mind playing tricks on you?
